Job Purpose:
Role overview: Provide planned and reactive maintenance to several sites across Scotland and North East England
Duties:
Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across all assigned sites.
Maintain and service a wide range of hard services assets, including:
- Pumps
- Air Handling Units (AHUs)
- Air Conditioning systems
- Generators
- Lighting and emergency lighting systems
- Power distribution systems
- Complete statutory and compliance‑related tasks, including:
- Fire door inspections
- Weekly fire alarm testing
- Water outlet flushing
- Water temperature monitoring and checks
- Emergency lighting tests
Ensure all works are completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with current legislation, standards, and company procedures.
Take full ownership of hard services maintenance within the buildings under your responsibility.
Accurately diagnose faults, carry out repairs, and recommend corrective actions where required.
Complete all associated documentation, reports, and records accurately and on time.
Manage and close all assigned work orders within agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs) using the relevant CAFM or maintenance management system.
Liaise professionally with clients, site contacts, colleagues, and subcontractors as required.
Proactively identify opportunities for continuous improvement, energy efficiency, and risk reduction
