With a legacy built on engineering expertise and a forward-thinking approach, we’re reshaping facilities management by combining technical excellence with data-driven innovation. Our purpose is clear: to create a better world at work. An Opportunity to Excel
As a Mechanical Engineer with EMCOR UK, you’ll play a vital role in keeping our customers’ sites running smoothly and efficiently. From planned maintenance to reactive repairs, you’ll be the go-to expert for all things mechanical, HVAC, and building services. You'll oversee the performance of critical systems, carrying out inspections, diagnosing issues, and delivering effective solutions. With a focus on safety, reliability, and precision, you’ll have the freedom to use your expertise to make real improvements, ensuring plant and equipment operate at their best.
Your day-to-day will be varied and rewarding. One day, you might be testing and inspecting building systems to ensure compliance with industry standards. The next, you’ll be responding to breakdowns, providing fast and effective solutions, and collaborating with both the helpdesk and customers to keep them informed. You'll also have the chance to get involved in refurbishment projects and minor installations, applying your skills to deliver tangible results. Throughout it all, you’ll be backed by a supportive team and provided with the tools, training, and resources you need to succeed.
Bring Your Expertise to the Forefront
We’re looking for a qualified mechanical engineer who’s ready to hit the ground running. With a background in building services and a relevant qualification such as C&G, BTEC Level 3, ONC/OND, or NVQ Level 3, you’ll be confident working across a variety of systems. You'll have a sharp eye for detail, a solution-focused mindset, and the ability to remain calm under pressure. Whether you’re collaborating with customers or liaising with the helpdesk, your strong communication skills and commitment to excellence will ensure you consistently deliver a first-class service.
A Role with Real Rewards
At EMCOR UK, your hard work and dedication won’t go unnoticed. You’ll enjoy a competitive salary with the potential for overtime and on-call pay, as well as 25 days of holiday plus Bank Holidays, with the option to buy up to five extra days each year. You’ll have access to our Flex Benefits scheme, giving you exclusive discounts on everything from gym memberships and dining experiences to travel and shopping. When on call, you’ll have the convenience of a company van, making travel seamless and stress-free.
Your health and wellbeing are equally important to us. With our Medicash health cash plan, you’ll be able to claim back expenses for dental, optical, and physiotherapy treatments. You’ll also have access to our Employee Assistance Programme, offering confidential support and guidance on everything from personal matters to financial advice. And if giving back matters to you, you’ll appreciate our paid volunteering and charity days, allowing you to support causes close to your heart.
