Hours: 0630 to 1830 - 4 days on 4 days off or 07:45 - 15:45 Monday to Friday

Job Purpose:
To ensure that the delivery of mechanical service and repair aspects of the contract are delivered in an effective, efficient and professional manner to the complete satisfaction of all our direct and indirect clients. To have specific day to day responsibility for non-motorised ground support equipment maintenance / repairs and statutory inspections, and any other reasonable request of the Account Supervisor.

Role Overview
Do you have Mechanical knowledge that can be transferred into maintenance? EMCOR UK are currently recruiting for Mechanical Maintenance Operatives to support our teams based at Heathrow. The role will require you to obtain an Air Side Pass.
What you will do
- Work in a small team or singularly to deliver a high output of pre-planned maintenance tasks across the client’s sites.
- Conduct preventative maintenance on machines and equipment by checking for smooth operation of the same and replacing worn and defective parts, as per the scope of the contract.
- Should have the ability to identify damage to assets that do not form a part of the contract scope and produce a bill of materials and identify the time required to undertake the repairs.
- Support the statutory inspection team in identifying non-compliant equipment and carry out inspections if required, LEEA trained would be advantageous.
- Conform to safety rules and apply good engineering and safety practices.
- Able to operate onsite specific machinery as required, for example nitrogen plant, cranes, forklifts, hangar doors etc.
- The responsibility for allocated work orders from receipt to completion.
- Provision of information on progress of allocated work orders.
- Adherence to all current company procedures.
- Developing of relationships with all clients and potential new customers and work within a site team of approximately 20 field and office-based staff.
- Willing to work in secure and sensitive environment on an exclusively manned site.
