About the role:
As a Talent Advisor you will be a true partner to EMCOR UK’s hiring manager population, ensuring the recruitment process is aligned with business needs, establishing a close relationship with all key stakeholders across the business at varying levels.
You'll work proactively to ensure that all hiring managers are aware of the process for recruiting new internal and external employees and that the Talent Team is the single point of contact for all recruitment requests.
Focused on delivering for your stakeholders, you will proactively source and pipeline talented individual for EMCOR UK and our vacancies. You'll manage candidates through the recruitment process, providing timely updates and promoting candidate experience, whilst delivering a high level of service to our internal customers.
You'll support social value and ED&I initiatives, working to make our opportunities accessible to those facing barriers to employment, and underrepresented groups.
Where required, you'll partner with our PSL of recruitment agencies, ensuring strong relationships are developed and maintained, giving a thorough understanding of the process for recruiting new employees
Collaborating with the Talent Business Partner and HR community, you will be part of our talent mapping, talent management and succession planning processes, focused on developing and deploying our internal talent, being an advocate for internal mobility, and actively promoting the benefits of these practices.
Providing an onsite presence to further build on relationships and improve site awareness, including attending management meetings on site as the representative for talent to discuss talent mapping, recruitment campaigns and methods of talent attraction.
Providing innovation an creative thinking, the Talent Advisor will suggest new ways for hiring mangers to assess candidates, such as ability tests, open days, assessment centres, seeking to evolve our talent acquisition offering and improve experience for all parties.
You'll work to a high standard, fully understanding the brief for all requirements, ensuring all candidates presented are screened and meet the requirements of the role, adding value to the selection process wherever possible. You'll ne connected to the external market through your own network, ensuing you're up to date on market trends, interpreting these into challenges and opportunities to be communicated with hiring managers. You'll work strategically and proactively to ensure the Talent Team are delivering the skills required into the organisation now, and build a plan and pipeline to ensure we're set to deliver future needs.
